Here is my yearly post! :)
Our Thanksgiving was a little different this year. We had Thanksgiving with my family the Sunday before....this is the first Thanksgiving without my Gran. This week has made me so thankful for memories. Thanksgiving with Brad's family was Wednesday night. I am so thankful for our families. We are surrounded by truly wonderful people.
That brings me to Thanksgiving Day...in all my 23 years of life, I have started my Thanksgiving Day by watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Isn't this a great tradition? Well this year....we were done with our family Thanksgiving's by Wednesday. So....in truly Worley fashion, that left us an entire day to work. Some major changes are taking place for B at work...good changes, but VERY major changes! I assumed this said work would begin after my coffee, breakfast, and parade watching....much to my dismay, I was awakened to Brad telling me it was time go! Wait...What?! I grumbled, got up, and started getting ready. My Thanksgiving Day included McDonald's breakfast, lunch on the floor of a tire shop, and a 10 hour day of painting. This morning I feel like I got hit by a truck and have bruises all over my legs, but all I can do is laugh. I think we will always remember this Thanksgiving.
Today, I am thankful for :
-a to-do list that is a mile long....and will probably never get done.
-a job that challenges me every single day and the 22 little faces in my classroom
-my master's classes and all the work that comes with them, because I know they will be so beneficial...eventually.
-my health.
-my husband (who makes me question my sanity daily, laugh, work on Thanksgiving Day ha, and enjoy life and everything that comes with it. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us.)
-our families, including my favorite little golden doodle
-our friends
-Coffee
-my Faith
-and so much more!
While we celebrate Thanksgiving one day a year, I hope that I will always have a heart of Thanksgiving!
