Pink Wheels and Total Body Insanity

I decided to start my week of with some sweet wheels and by getting my booty kicked at New Fitness.
I have been begging Brad since I got my black car, 4 years ago, to get pink wheels! He told me that they didn't make them...blah blah blah. Well, FINALLY he gave in!
I love them! They are so fun!

I have been feeling a little blah lately.  I feel so much better when I workout, but for some reason...I have trouble keeping a routine.  I went to a Total Body Insanity class at New Fitness last night.  It was fun...and today I am moving a little bit slower! I was soaked with sweat when I left, sign of a good workout!

In other news, I have some pretty exciting things going on in the next few months.  We are currently in the process of trying to buy a house.  Not just a house, but a house, 78 acres, and a big barn (Brad was sold when he saw the barn and working pens).
I also got a REAL job!!!! I will be teaching 5th Grade Literacy at Green Forest Intermediate! I am so excited, but sooooo nervous. I am ready to get in and tackle my classroom, as soon as they finish waxing the floor.  I have also started doing a little reading for my lesson plans....I am currently reading "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." Exciting summer reading :)
I am so excited for the next few months, even though I have a ton of work to do!

Happy Tuesday!

Father's Day 2012

I am very thankful for my Dad.  He has taught me so many things that have made me who I am today.

Life...

My blogging has been lacking the last few months.  My life is finally slowing down.  I am currently enjoying my first summer as a teacher! I will be teaching 5th grade Literacy this year! I am super excited and a little nervous.  So far, my summer has included a lot of time spent with my dog, "Law and Order" marathons, cleaning, organizing....and hanging out with my family and friends.  Here's to a great, restful summer!

Love,
Allyson
